There is more than one artist using this name: Stockton CA hip-hop duo tones consists of rapper-producer, Retro aka Raymond "Retro" Owens, and rapper-singer, Suhn aka Rayshaun "Suhn" Ingram. They have recently put out their debut album entitled ‘Dreamtalk’ as a result of their deal with the Bay Area-based Kero-One operated record label Plug. They are gaining acclaim worldwide and hope to tour Japan in 2009 on the strength of their debut. In 2003 they released a self-titled album as The Earthtones
